Buck`s Dairy Quik in Alexander City

Very good foot long hotdog with fries chili and cheese.Tea was good also as the service was exactly what I needed.

The food is good, great service and it's clean.

Great as Always! You get your moneys worth and its delicious. Its like family in there. My Mom Maw Brown was one of the first employees that worked there! The original famous cold slaw was her receipe :)

I like this place a lot. Small home town feel. Food is good and people are friendly definitely recommend. I recommend the Coleslaw.

Buck's is by far my favorite place to eat in Alexander City! Their fried chicken is hands down the best I have ever had! Everyone that works there is knowledgeable and polite. I recomend it everyone who visits or just passes through Alexander City.

A little place with great southern food. Try the chicken fried steak with gravy and onions, it was fantastic! Their onion rings have a malted vinegar batter that makes them out of this world. Highly recommend you stop by and try this hidden gem.

I like it here pretty good

Well, to start with you dont serve a country fried steak, where you have to cut it with a steak knife, on a styrofoam plate. Do like styrofoam mixed in my gravy and onions. The cornbread was cold and hard as a rock. I could have busted out the front window with it. The black eyed peas needed to cook another half a day, still hard in the middle. But the green beans were good!

Service is usually pretty good. Depends on who is working at the time. Food is decent. You get good size portions. We go back for more.

It's not that we hated this place but the service was bad. The meal was not good. It also had a sign out front, cook and waitresses needed. This place definitely needs a good cook.

I have visited for lunch for the last 2 days. I have found the staff to be quite polite and friendly. The first day there was a little weight but to compensate for this they did give me a free sweet tea. Kudos for me :-) today I decided to call in my order since I am going during lunch hours and when I got there my food was already ready. The staff once again was very polite and friendly. My food is hot and fresh. I ordered pork chops with fried green tomatoes and broccoli and cheese with a roll. I think Bucks have a very nice menu and variety. I haven't tried their ice cream but hey who can mess up ice cream it all looks great here. If you are coming through the Alexander City area, I would recommend that you stop there if you have the time because it's not on the main Highway 280 is a little off the beaten path on Highway 22. If you haven't had Buck's fried chicken you are missing a true life experience. It is life altering. The coleslaw is a staple too.

Food is 5-star, however service is complete trash! Gave my family gave my family our own refills several times of eating there and that's after it takes 10-15 minutes for anyone to even come to your table to take your food/drink order. Several waitresses just standing around behind the counter just staring in a daze and you got a couple of then out back smoking. Overall opinion is food is awesome but service is pitiful.

It was awesome haven't ate here in 10 years because I moved away came home to visit and it was great .

Best "homeade cooking " in town!!

Great food and service! Great hometown atmosphere., very welcoming. Our family chose a variety of food: fried chicken, hotwings, shrimp, fish, slaw, potato logs, baked potatoes, ice cream. Everything tasted fresh and was well prepared.
